Restoration Work North Wales
We have recently completed restoration work to ornamental oak detailing to the front porch of the property and various other areas; this required turning replica pieces and carving panels and previously turned sections. These were then carefully spliced into the original timber work.
One of the plaster panels to the front door had also been damaged and this was re-worked using the original methods, to replicate the figure of the woman at the base of the door on the right.
Once the restoration works had been completed, the property was then decorated externally to the specification of the Local Authority Conservation Officer.
This is a Grade 1 Listed building which is run as a museum by the local authority.
